I would love to one day make, bake, decorate and sell simple understated cakes. My mom and I start our caked decorating class tonight....here's to my dream job =)

Tuscan Chicken with White Beans and Spinach

I made a couple of changes though and cooked bone-in chicken breasts in the crock pot (for 5-6 hours on low) with the bacon grease (the bacon is key) and all the seasonings instead of in the skillet. I then poured the broth/drippings from the crockpot into the bean and tomato mix in the skillet and let simmer. So simple & amazing =) Enjoy!

Fun Foods
5 layer giant cookie cake. So fun to make! And one of the best chocolate cookie recipes...it calls for heavy whipping cream :O

Strawberry scones from better homes & garden. They originally call for fresh basil and freeze-dried strawberries...but I did not have any and they turned out great. I would use 1/4 cup of sugar next time =)

Cupcakes & More
Had the best red velvet cupcake of my life with my friend Lyndi today. It was from this new little place that just opened up on 56th and old Cheney called Cupcakes and More. So great. Love good friends and good dessert =)
